Blair Underwood, a Golden Globe-nominated actor and recipient of several NAACP Image Awards, discusses his new book Before I Got Here: The Wondrous Things We Hear When We Listen to the Souls of Our Children.
Through conversations with his family and friends, Underwood discovered how often people have children who say things that have “left them with their jaws on the floor.” Underwood created a web site as a place to collect these stories and this book is a collection of the best of the conversations and stories posted on the site.
