Christopher Moore, the phenomenally popular, New York Times bestselling satirist whom the Atlanta Journal-Constitution calls, “Stephen King with a whoopee cushion and a double-espresso imagination,” reads from and discusses his new book Sacré Bleu: A Comedy d’Art. This magnificent new novel, from the author of Lamb, A Dirty Job, and Bite Me, is part mystery, part history, part love story, and wholly hilarious as it follows a young baker-painter as he joins the dapper Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec on a quest to unravel the mystery behind the supposed “suicide” of Vincent van Gogh.

I wasn’t aware he had a new book out until I saw it on bookreportradio{dot}com this week. The arty, conspiracy theory story intrigued me, leading me to do a bit of searching, where I found this. Great podcast-Christopher Moore really comes across as so “out there” and yet so normal in the sense that he doesn’t have the superior air and eloquence of some authors I’ve heard speak. I try to catch the radio show every weekend to keep up with the constant release of new books, and seeing as though they interview authors on the show, would actually enjoy hearing Mr Moore interviewed on the show-he’s so entertaining. Nice one, thanks!
