As a former Spanish instructor, I cannot believe the numerous mistakes made by the author in The Machiavelli Covenant. A bilingual translator needs to be employed to assure that the Spanish content will be correct! I have laughed and laughed at page 244 when he writes "Mosca encima". For those that so not speak Spanish, it means "a house fly at the top", not "fly over".

I have been a fan since your first book, and have always waited patiently for a new one to come out. I just finished The Hadrian Memorandum - and have to tell you whoever did your editing should be shot! I have never seen so many errors in writing a book, and I have read plenty of them. Words spelled wrong, grammatical errors, missing words, duplicate words - instead of wondering what would happen next in the story line I was wondering when I would come upon another error in writing. Very disappointing.

I just finished the Machiavelli Covenant and part way through I had very stong impressions that I had seen a movie on TV that at least very closely mirrored the book and would love to see it again. Am I crazy? If there is a way to get the video or at least the title of the movie I would appreciate getting the information. I too would love to see The Day After Tomorrow made into a film and was so very disappointed when the movie with the same title was not based on the really exciting read by Allan Folsom. I am now hooked and will need to catch up with the other books now. Thank you.

Allan--
When will "The Day After Tomorrow" become a film???
I have read it 4 times--(never happend before)
The 4th time was to try and figure out why I liked it so much.
I remember reading many, many years ago (1997???) that the rights to the movie had been sold --
So who has the rights and will there ever be a movie???
Thank you for writing this fabulous book.
Best Regards,
Cole Mulcahy

I have read the Day After Tomorrow, The Day of Confession, and am currently in the midst of The Exile. I was wondering if Folsom had a website to join or something of that nature. I really appreciate his work, and would love to know when he planned on making more books.

While I enjoyed Folsom's books, I was appalled by the horrendous, word-by-word, literal translations from the Spanish in this book. As a native Spanish speaker, I found that they were so outrageous and incorrect that some were downright laughable! Is there a way to write to Allan Folsom directly? I really would like to comment on these translations directly and encourage him, by all means, to consult a native Speaker before publishing.

I just read Machiavelli Covenant. Not a bad story but the foreign languages are so mangled. Please, Allan, get an editor who knows French and Spanish at least.

How can I get in contact with Allan Folsom or his agent /publicist?

I am a British actor interested in The Day After Tomorrow in a feature film context.

Who can I call or write to?

Cheers,

Matthew
