I have been a weight watcher member for almost three years and at goal for almost two years with a weight loss of frifty pounds which I have successfully kept off. Part of my success not only is following the weight watchers program but by using recipes I have found on your website which allows me to diversify my diet. I have recently purchased the Hungry Girl cookbook and continue to check your website for any other additional recipes and information that will help me to maintain my weight. Thank you from the bottom of my appetite.

Just want to clarify. Lisa was never a spokesperson for Breyers. I know that Lisa and the HG staff do love Breyers ice cream -- and Dreyers. There are lots of good ice creams out there. The HG gals don't lie. I have been reading Hungry Girl since 2004.

I love Hungry Girl. I am a Weight Watcher lifetimer and I promote Hungry Girl as much as possible to fellow Weight Watchers. It is a wonderful website. I also have purchased the cook book and I am listening to the podcast. As for people with allergies; yes, it is serious, but we also have to put some humor in our lives, even those with medical conditions.

Like everyone else, i wish i could've been to the podcast in person. The tour book tour didn't come close enough in my hometown (beaver ohio) for me to attend. I got the book and have always enjoyed her hg website. Keep up the good work lisa, i am really glad you name the name brands that sure helps alot. Love how you cut right to the chase on the good and the bad of the products.

Ann - it seems to me that it's a possibility that Lisa promoted Breyers because she liked their product, and they paid her. And then, Dreyer's came out with a new product, which she likes better than Breyers. Is it wrong to discover something new, or does she have to remain true to the old stuff?

As for the food allergy thing, that's a tough one. I have a lot of friends with food allergies and sensitivities, so I'm very tuned in to that kind of thing (ask me how difficult it is to go out to dinner with a group where you've got lactose sensitivities *and* allergies, gluten allergies, and then another person who is vegan). At the same time, I think it's more their responsibility to do the legwork on determining what they can and can't eat, or how to make substitutions, rather than the waitstaff at a restaurant, or the author of a cookbook.

Really enjoyed the podcast. Wish I could have seen it live instead of just hearing Lisa's voice. She sounds adorable. She is funny and sincere. You go girl!
Got the book too.

What a fun podcast! I love that Lisa uses name brands, it makes finding the ingredients for her recipes SO much easier. Honestly, I don't mind that she backs different products because everything she back tastes good. I'm a weight watcher and am very grateful that her recipes are so friendly with my new lifestyle.

Loved the Podcast. I missed the event at Tattered Cover and this was a great second. I originally heard about Hungry Girl on KYGO - so am very glad Lisa has ties to Denver.

Lisa just said that Dreyers is the best ice cream. Last year, she was the spokesperson for Breyers. I've seen her promote a number of products then say another is better. I find this very offensive. It's also not cool to joke about folks alergies.
Thanks.
